About Dicelex

Dicelex is a free daily 3D word puzzle. Each day a new board of sixteen rotating letter cubes is generated. Spell words by chaining adjacent cubes; clear the board in three valid words or fewer to win.

How to play

• Rotate a cube by dragging on a side face. Each cube snaps to one of 24 orientations, so any of its visible letters can be brought to the top.
• Spell a word by pressing and holding a cube, then dragging across adjacent cubes (including diagonals). Release to submit.
• Win when all sixteen cubes are removed. Invalid attempts don't count, but you only have three valid words to clear the board.
• Played a word that didn't help? Tap undo — you get three undos per puzzle.

Daily puzzles

Every player gets the same board for a given calendar day. Your progress is saved locally so you can refresh the page and pick up where you left off. A streak counter and unlockable achievements track your play across days.

Dictionary

Words are validated against Collins Scrabble Words 2024 (CSW24), the international competitive Scrabble word list (~280,000 entries). Following Boggle convention, the letter Q is treated as "Qu" when matching.
